Graphic Identities / Packaging
Caravana is one of the first rostisserie chicken chain in Perú.
Established in 1966 Caravana has been taking the leed in creating new presentations, products and services that competitors has been follow.
Caravana need to change the packaging in style and material updating it with the new redesign of the identity.
The old packaging made of polystyerene was replaced with cardboard as a more ecology friendly material.
Having a drastic shape change it somehow has to bring familiarity with food.
Need to be consistent with all the family of products.
Approach and Solution:
The new CARAVANA packaging is focused on the simple positive vivid energy of the soul of the brand, a live coal.
The shape was inspired on lunch boxes we used to take to school or work.
Strong simple typography and bold orange and black color, coding for the first time the chicken portions 1, 1/2 or 1/4 and personal and family fries portions.
These new cardboard boxes makes a before and after of packaging on the rotisserie chicken Peruvian market.
